How we began...
The Moundsville Rifle & Pistol Club was found in 1952 by a group of individuals who shared an interest in the shooting sports. Over the years, the Club has grown both in size and intent. We are dedicated to providing our Communities with a safe, educational, and fun place for those who want to learn the shooting sports.
From the Articles of Incorporation of the Moundsville Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc.
The purpose of this organization is to promote and encourage the use of firearms for sport among the members of the club and the public in general; to promote and advocate the use of firearms in general; to promote and advocate the use firearms in a safe and careful manner; to provide facilities for the recreational use of firearms for the members of the club; to conduct an association which will be enabled to educate the members of the general public in the use of firearms for recreation and sport.
